The independent directors are provided with an overview of the company operations through interactions with the senior management and the Executive Directors of the Company. The Directors at the Board meetings and outside are given the understanding of the following areas:

• Industry and the market trends
• Regulatory issues notably on pricing and FDA issues
• The company’s performance in light of the competition
• Strategies of the company
